Arm Balances Workshop
ARM BALANCES YOGA WORKSHOP with AMBRE
Come and join us for a fun and instructive workshop on Arm balances.
During 2 hours, Ambre will share her top tips to unlocking these more advanced postures: We will learn effective techniques on the journey to a safe, solid foundation of arm balance postures and maybe a few inversions. With props and each other, we will awaken core strength, conditioning exercises and many variations to build up confidence and spice up our practice.
Arm balances and other physically challenging poses can teach you something about mindfulness that a gentle practice cannot, like how not to get stressed out when stressful things are happening.
Come with an open mind and a willingness to have fun in this workshop; suitable for all-levels.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We will focus on key alignment, full-body activation and prepare our hands & wrists to receive the weight of your body safely. Think core stability and isolation, scapular positioning and shoulder strength, wrist and hip flexibility plus a touch of bravery!
We’ll explore Crow, side crow, Grasshopper, Flying Pigeon, flying lizard…If it flies, we’ll probably play with it.
We will build on variations, using props, progressing together one shape at a time.
WHO’S THIS TRAINING FOR?
This is suitable for all levels including beginners – a fantastic way to take your practice to the next level and improve your yoga confidence. Ambre will make sure all levels learn some great tips.
